Egotistical people are often very insecure and to keep from being hurt, they involve themselves completely with the most important person in the world: Them.
If you are over the age of eighteen, you might start looking deep into the eyes of the person in the mirror and asking her that question and, then, to ask if she could ever deign to include another person in her life to be equally important? More than one person?
That you realize that you are egotistical, you probably have few friends who will put up with your constant self absorption. You might just be enough person for you. If this is true, just stay by yourself and not bother to do anything with others. You might become a forest ranger where you can spend months alone? What other professions would allow you to just focus on yourself?
No need to change unless you might like to be of service in the world.

because when you look in the mirror..your eyes actually see a fantastic beautiful marvelous looking female.. better looking than most..and it is hard not to feel this way...
most of us do not look half as beautiful as you do..that's why...
