Dear EyeheartP: A picture of a head wreath of laurel leaves is good, possibly on the head of someone on horseback ; so is the dominance of the Imperial Eagle of Rome! Also, any pictures of a Roman Legion on a battlefield - in their formations!

I have never liked the Coliseum in Rome ; but, it's picture is strong and powerful and represents the era of Vespesian through Titus, and a mighty period of Rome. The martyrs died in it ; the games were played in it, and the wealth and leisure of Rome are symbolic in it. The slaves representing the booty of the Empire were the Gladiators in the Arena, too. It's the embodiment of Roman life (unfortunately)!

Hope this helped some . . .

Look for a picture of a circle of laurel leaves. They are the symbol of the Roman Emporers power.
