No help for your current problem, but if you're doing this on a regular basis, leave a copy of your key with a trusted neighbour and annoy that person at 2 o'clock in the morning after you're done partying and you're too drunk to know what's what. I'm sure the neighbour will appreciate it. Don't leave a copy under the mat or in the mailbox. You may be getting watched.

A few weeks ago I went through the same thing, locked myself out of my house. Having watched too many movies I called the cops hoping for a quick solution. No luck! The cop that showed up gave me the exact same answer you got from others above:

Option #1: Break in by force
Option #2: Call a locksmith

I guess there's no easy way IN this time.

The "locksmith" answer should be obvious.

If it were easy to just "find another way" to unlock the door, it would defeat the purpose of having a lock. Wouldn't it?

Are you the guy trying to get into my back door? Your house is next door, buddy. Better sober up.

Advise:
1) Look for an open window.
2) Call a locksmith - this is cheaper than replacing broken glass
3) Sleep in the bush out back

And, please, quit trying to get into my house!

Drive your car through the front door.

Where are you writing this question if you are locked out?

Lunkhead, just keep an extra key in your wallet.

Either:
a) Phone a locksmith, your home insurance company can probably sort this out for you

or

b) Break in with violence!
