Call from a landline first of all. Secondly, keep trying, even after you think it has finished, because, chances are: nobody got through and everybody gave up...

Have the radio station's phone number already entered into your phone. As soon as they open the lines, dial in and keep hitting the redial button on your phone until you get through. Do the same with your cell phone so you can have two lines dialing in at the same time.

It helps if you know the DJ. You can call in on the private line and just explain how you need those tickets more than any other listener out there.
