GOD YES! Remember the love and to cherish till death part? Loving and cherishing your mate covers allot of ground. Desire falls into the scope of that clause.

Desire him, want him, need him and figure out new ways to keep him. Being still desirous of you mate is one of the most important parts of an intimate relationship. It keeps the interest and spark alive in a marriage.

I recently have had some serious problems with my wife and her telling lies and breaking promises. She apparently lost some of her desire for me. She's was cold busted. She's in denial she did anything wrong (she did not have sex with someone but did have an intimate emotional relationship with an old boyfriend).

Instead of dumping her, I'm trying to figure out what I managed to do that pulled her away in the first place. I'm jumping through hoops attempting to draw her desire back in my direction.

Feel proud you by default still have desire in your relationship with your husband. It's such a precious commodity and can easily be directed the wrong way.

Your husband is the luckiest man in the world. I'm totally wanting that same thing from my wife. Her desire being directed only at me.

He's a lucky man indeed.

You are a woman after my own heart. I don't care about the ups and downs of marriage! I know that marriage is ordained by God, and if you hang in there, you will still desire each other after many years. I want that kind of marriage, so far it has eluded me.
I want to see, taste, smell, and touch my husband after 50 years of marriage, and still have wild sex as long as everything is still in working order, it doesn't have to be in perfect order, just working order.

I hope to be so lucky someday ... it's more than "okay"!!!

I know just what you mean about wating to smell, taste, etc. When you really really love your partner, you want to bring all the senses into the relationship.

Congrats on your first 24 years - hope you have many more to come!

OOooh no! That's not allowed! In these days of divorce we are not allowed to stay with the same person for that long!

Congrats on your successful marriage. I hope it lasts another 24.
