If you go to a Planned Parenthood. You can ask them how much it will cost you. But also there are grants that can be used. All you have to do is ask them about the grants. And it should be free.

It depends on the insurance company that you have, but most insurance companys should pay for that kind of procedure. However you should check. There are also many palces such as planned parenthood that will do a sliding fee or will refer you.
I do not know if there is a free abortion based on a rape case , but that is something to discuss with the police if you have filed a report with them which I suggest you do and also look into counseling to decide if abortion is the thing you want to do. Abortions can make life easier...but may come back to haunt you in the future. Just make sure it is something that you really want to do.

Some places might do it for free or cheap. Insurance won't cover. Abortions usually cost anywhere from $350 to a couple thousand, depending on how far along you are.

Tell you what....I will provide a god home for your angel after he/she is born. That way there you save the life of your baby and I can have a child since I have issues keeping a pregnancy. I would love nothing more than to have the choice of whether or not to keep my baby. I have not had the choice. It was made for me when I had 2 miscarriages. My husband and I were both crushed. I don't understand how someone would choose this as an answer. It is a real offer. Just so you know.

To the lady offering her home to the unborn child.......
Aww how kind. Now why don't you go to your local foster home and adopt a kid who needs you now? Oh and don't forget to leave your age discrimination at the door..because that just wouldn't be fair to the other kiddies who were passed over because they were too old to be loved.
It's always neat to see how many pro-life people will come out of the woodwork right after something like this is posted. What would be really neat though would be if these wonderful baby-loving people would donate some of their money to these women who want to abort, or even better if they would put their money where their mouth is and adopt children out of foster care. It's sooo easy to be pious and look down your nose at a perfect stranger who is at a crossroads in her life while you sit there in your comfortable little chairs typing away.
Pro-lifers, put your money where your mouth is. As to the lady who asked the question the prices vary depending on where you live and how much competition there is among clinics in your area. If you have only one clinic then tough, you're going to have to deal with their price. Also, the earlier you get the abortion done then the cheaper it is. Every month that you wait it gets significantly more expensive. Some clinics can only perform abortions up to a certain month of development too, so if the clinic in your area is in that category then you may have to travel to find a clinic that can help you. As far as insurance coverage goes, that all depends on who insures you. More than likely this will not be covered unless it is life-threatening in some way as defined by a doctor.
Rape is a very good reason to feel the way you do if that truly is the case in your situation. However if you just posted that to try to limit the haters from saying stuff here then you dishonor all of the women who truly have been raped. At any rate, think long and hard about your decision. Whatever you decide will stay with you for the rest of your life. If you decide to keep your baby, then you will have to live with that decision for the rest of your life. If you decide to abort, then you will have to live with that decision for the rest of your life. You have to decide which decision is easier to live with.
I am a full-time college student and part-time worker, and my fiancee is a full-time worker. We are by no means rich, we're not even middle-class. We are poor enough to qualify for medicaid (free healthcare for mom and baby) and wic (free food for baby). There is a good chance you qualify for those programs too. I am so glad that we decided to keep our daughter. She is now 18 months old, and we have another baby who will be born on or around christmas day.
It is terrifying at first when you find out you are pregnant because everybody loves to tell you how expensive it is, and you feel like being a parent is too hard, too difficult to do. It's not. It's actually the easiest job I've ever had. =)
Now I know it sounds like I am a pro-lifer like all of the other hotheads here, but I am pro-choice. I feel like a person can never have too many choices, and that when society starts to impose restrictions on people, then it hurts everybody as a whole.
One last thing before I post this. If you do decide to make the decision to abort, then make one final decision on whether or not to contact that corny lady who is offering her home to your baby. I don't know whether or not she is serious, but what would you have to lose?
Good luck with whatever you do.

If you were raped then I'm very sorry you had to undergo such a traumatic and painful event. But please don't make an innocent child pay the price for that with their life. It's not fair for a person to rape another person just like it's not fair for a person to kill another person. I hope that you don't add to the pain by having to live with the thought that a baby who could have grown up loving you as it's mother never had a chance to know the love that you could provide for it if you can disassociate the child from the criminal and his despicable act.

It costs a human life. If someone was raped and there worried about the mental problems of being pregnant by a guy who raped them, theyed still have the mental problems plus the mental problems of taking a human life.
