In answering I look at the both the title and your own personal answer. If you open it up to all the characters in the cartoon, MummRa the Ever Living. But you also said the toughest Thundecat. Answer once again MummRa. MummRa actually transformed himself into a Thundercat in one episode.

Even though he didn't get much play my personal fav was always Bengali.
He was the black and white striped, Siberian tiger-looking Thundercat who came with 2 others, a female puma, and a blind lynx guy.

even though he is blind. it amplified his other senses given him advantage over his opponents. he's the daredevil of the thundercats.
