You can set up a homemade hamster trap. Get a bucket, and put a soft blanket at the bottom, and some yummy hamster treats. Make a ramp or get a bird laddar going up the outside of the bucket. The hamster will smell the food, climb the ramp up the bucket, and fall in, and then not be able to jump out again. I caught mine this way. You can also try buying a Havahart trap at a garden store or something. Check behind and under all your furnature for nests or knawing. Good luck.

You can try the old corn trick. Spread some corn or seed in the middle of each room in your house. Check the next day and see if any pile sof the food are gone. Then you should know what room he/she is in. But, remember to close all doors after spreading the corn. Good Luck!

If my hamsters ever get out I find them under the bed, or under the couches. They tend to go under places and hide. But if you put food out im sure it will come out. Also mine were trained by the ear, they knew when I was going to feed em because I would make noise with the food bag and maybe you should try that.!

Somewhere warm and dark. Behind refrigerators is a top choice for them, also under the bed or in little nooks and crannies behind sofas or desks.
Start off by looking next to electrical devices (tv's, refrigerators, computers) so he won't get so close as to be electrocuted or burned.

Good luck!!

Here's an article on finding a lost hamster...I also think they are nocturnal, so you might wait until things are really quiet and dark and then look for him.

i lost my hamster for two weeks and everyone said she was dead, but I caught her using a plastic staorge container. (make sure it's big so they can't climb back up) i made a custom staircase with cardboard and little cardboard strips for stairs. she smelled food and fell in.. i left her water and more food. made everyone a liar.....good luck
