We will never know what happened. The beauty of the information age is elegant in its simplicity. We can hide the truth of anything by making truth itself suspect. The destruction of truth is self perpetuating so the effort to hide the truth is small and simple. The truth is out there but so is all the BS in the world. So finding the truth is like locating a specific pebble on the bottom of the ocean. You can say whatever you like on the internet. You can post anything that you desire and call it fact. You can support your fiction with dozens of tables and figures equally fabricated. You can tell the truth or tell a lie and who can actually tell the difference? There is so much misinformation, fabricated information, real theories, fake theories and real debunking and fake debunking that how can we possibly find the truth in all the garbage? And if we did find it who would believe it and would we even know for sure that what we found was truth? If 9-11 was an inside job we will never know. If our government did the deed they have gotten away with it. Think about it. Even if you found the smoking gun, even if you found a signed memo from some member of the government detailing a plan and authorizing an attack who would believe you? There is so much fakery and so many lies and so many claims that yours would be just one more. You real memo would not appear any more convincing than the dozens of professionally faked memos that are already on the net. Your real evidence would be no more believable than all of the faked testimony and evidence and scientific reports that argue for either theory or a dozen more theories. No. We lost this one. The truth will never be known because even if it was right in front of us we could never separate it from the fiction. Not to mention a lot of us have been conditioned to disbelieve anything which doesn't come from a government source. If someone is labeled a conspiracy theorist than they could say the sky is blue and be called a liar. We are conditioned to violently reject any idea labeled conspiracy theory by the government. Thats brilliant I have no idea how they pulled it off but many of us actually fear even hearing a non-sanctioned idea. You can't get better protection than that.

I would only attempt this is you are teaching high school students. As a parent and someone who lost a beloved friend in the towers, I would be very upset if my young child was shown something like this. Some people are still dealing with this event and you may stir up emotions you hadn't intended on. I really don't care how the towers collapsed, they did and it changed the world... show the kids something else. Show them how they imploded buildings in Vegas or something... not the towers. it almost seems sac-religious to me.
