well lets start off w/ the question about the #s the "5" means that the cord is a power chord generally played on 3 strings two at the same fret and the bass string of the chord 2 frets lower

F5
D------------3
A------------3
E -----------1

for Bb5 you simply hold the same fingerings and can either move up a string or slide up to the 6th fret

G------3 D-----8
D------3 A-----8
A------1 E-----6

C5 is also the relativly same fingering except slide up to the third fret on the A string

G-----5
D-----5
A-----3

E5 is the easiest to play as it it basically an E minor

D-----2
A-----2
E-----0

expensive Goth, You sound such as you're catching on rapid. i think of as quickly as you study difficulty-unfastened chords, barre chords, strum varieties, etc...you will discover out which you would be able to positioned your very own tunes at the same time. study some greater songs that have already been written, and keep in mind the chords and how they're prepare. And once you come back up with some thing on your thoughts, use those chord varieties and notice if it comes at the same time for you. i think of you would be suprised. i'm a relative beginner too, yet am catching on. i'm engaged on the acoustic version of "Blue on Black" by ability of the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. Rock on, and sturdy luck!
