Altell prepaid has the best value deal! The followings are prepaid plans offered by Alltel.

Alltel offers 3 types of prepaid plans (U prepaid): paid by minutes, paid by day, and pay by month. (Alltel also offers a prepaid cell phone set as low as $9.98. )

Pay-per-day, I think this is the best value deal. It will charge you 75 cents per day and you get to choose two add-on options for free. The add-on options are "free nights & weekends", "free mobile to mobile" and "unlimited text messaging". It charge you 10 cents per minute during the day time.

As the name says, the paid-by-minute plan charges you 15 cents perminute when you make a call or per-incomming or per-outgoing text message.

The website for the plan details and selection of cell phones available for the prepaid plan can be found at:

I would say boost mobile...besides being able to your it as a regular prepaid service they have introduced free nights and weekends as well without a contract or a credit check. You dont even need to have a credit card or a bank account. All you have to do is buy the regular cards for it eveyr month. They are the same compney as Sprint/Nextel so you will be able to use the phone nationwide plus the refil cards are easy to get for that phone. They are available at all major gas stations/grocery stores/walmart.

If you have alot of friends on cingular, go for a go phone. You can talk unlimited to cingular customers for about a $1 a day i think. And other calls are like 5 or 10 cents! not too bad!
