Not like 'gotopc.com' but more of a repair issue like 'Geek Squad', etc. uses. Ultra VMC? There are quite a few, Want a simple access software, requiring no downloads to remote computer!

Do you mean "VNC" not "VMC"? try helpdeskvnc.com it has a lite comparable that I find very quick.(help desk vnc v2) It even has session timers for billing and such, you can even reboot the remote computer into safe mode and firewalls are no problem! (their main homepage even has a free tool to check the router/firewall on the support computer to see if it's set to accept calls from the remote client! It also uses repeaters so you can connect to your client even on the road, and once your in you can even use HTTP links if needed, and when you are done just hit the END button and it will uninstall anything you may leave behind itself without no one on the other end to do it and it leaves nothing that can be a security risk to you behind.(RC4 Encryption is used so you and your client's info is safe) One click, and instantly a connection is established. And auto-reconnect(resume) is a feature I love that was not available with my last software, saving me a lot of lost time!

If the host computer has this turned on, running windows xp pro, you can use the Remote Desktop Connection, only entering their ip address.

If this is for serious repair issues...how about you go get the computer and repair it like normal instead of trying to hack your way in?

You can try this program out....I've used it in the past Remote Administrator (Radmin) 2.2 http://www.famatech.com/ It is difficult to do some things unless someone is on the other end to reboot the pc, start the program, grant access, etc. However, it will do what I think you want.

pc wizards do take apprentices, yet in basic terms so as that they might suck their life rigidity. i attempted to apprentice to a working laptop or pc wizard as quickly as, and he very virtually drained my life essence so as that he could further define the mysteries of microsoft. I had to run away and replaced into very skeered for an rather long term.
