I need help with my homework!! do you have ideas about how I can make and decorate family banner?? or do you know any web sites that have family banners of other people and maybe I can get Ideas about how to make mine!! Please Help Me!!!

My family had a banner when I was growing up -- thanks for the memory!
My mom took the material -- I think it was muslin or something similar, ask at a craft or material store -- and then wrote on it with cloth paint. We wrote our family creed, and then some decorations, each one matching something we did. (We had a violin, some pots and pans, something for all of us).
Sounds like a fun project.
