Kiss Me makes a liquid eyeliner that is totally water and smudge proof. It only comes off with warm water and pressure. Never smears or gets into the corners of your eyes. Takes some practice to perfect the application, however.

I was waiting for someone to ask this question cos i have THE BEST solution!! Youll have to trust me though cos it sounds a but strange!! When i was at college i did art and if we ever ran out of fixant for our pastel drawings (the stuff we used to stop them from smudging) we used hairspray.... know where im going with this?? Put your eye makeup on, shut them tight, and spray a bit of hairspray on them. I know it sounds stupid but i wear gwen stefanie style eye liner and makeup, and i swear it doesnt move!! You can sleep with it on and you wake up looking exactly the same!! My mates said i was crazy, until they did it.
As for the goo that gathers in the corner of your eye, if you find a cure..... tell me! it does my head in!!!

One solution would be to not use eyeliner on the bottom of your eye. Another would be to use MAC or Bobbi Brown eyeliner. Revlon Colorstay is good, too.

Try using a waterproof eyeliner (liquid or pencil) or try using a darker colored eyeshadow applied with a short, thin bristled brush.

it really is makeup.... full proof all the time to not smudge... pencil your eyes first.. then use powder eyeshadow over it. use the smudge brush to do this or any flat brush.
