Yes they have a very good shot, due to the fact that they have an incredibly weak schedule. They only have to win their game against Louisville at home to have a very good shot at being in the national championship game.

I don't think they deserve to be there. But they very well might.

Even if they are undefeated they still need help getting to the BCS championship game. It doesn't really matter though, they haven't played a decent team yet. Louisville has a very good shot at beating them. Their defense is not very good either, if they do happen to get to the BCS championship game they have no shot of winning.

Yes but a very slim one. First they will need to be undefeated, Then they will need USC to lose at least once if not 2 times. Michigan will have to lose
Auburn wil have to lose again and probably Florida too.
Basically if Ohio State wins out and Auburn meets Florida again in the sec Championship. The winner will Play Ohio State. Counting on of course a USC loss.

Really the only way they will go is if they are the only undefeated team in the country. Their weak schedule hurts them.

Unfortunately they are in the Big East, considered by some to be a weak conference. They only way they could get to the championship is to get the bid to the championship game from the BCS. Technically they have a chance if they win out the remainder of their games and the teams ahead of them in the BCS poll lose.

No, their schedule is too weak. Even if they go 12-0 they probably will not finish #1 or 2 in the final BCS poll because the 6 computer ranking polls that the BCS uses all take into account strength of schedule.

I don't really think so. They may be undefeated, but they haven't beat anyone worth mentioning. Their first real test comes in 2 weeks against Louisville. I have a feeling they will go 10-2 with their losses being to Louisville in 2 weeks, and Rutgers in the last game of the regular season.

I really think they need Ohio State, Michigan, and USC to lose in order to get in (why, because if either OH state or Mich lose aside from their game against each other, then that means they would then WIN the head to head match-up and I thinks that puts that winner ahead of WVU).

ONly if they beat Louisville and win the remainder of their games. Also, you need USC, Auburn, Ohio State to all start losing, or playing really bad where they lose points in the BCS

They might they have a good fast QB (not as good as troy smith) but he's good.If the win all of their games especially against Louisville and Rutgers they have a chance.

no they do not at all...for one they dont deserve to be ranked as high as they are because they play nobody and other teams (OHIO STATE BUCKEYES) are way too good for WV to even keep up
