A Witch is a Witch, male or female. The term "warlock" is from the OE "waer loga"="oath breaker" or "traitor", it has nothing to with gender or sexual orientation, it is a definition of the kind of person they are. The idea that a "warlock" is a "male witch" was invented by the Christians and has no basis in fact, linguistically, historically, or in current usage among the Pagan community.

Actually, in the Wiccan religion, there's no such thing as a warlock. A warlock is a sorceror or wizard, which isn't the same as a male Wiccan. Both males & females are called witches. If he was Wiccan, he'd be a male witch -in this case a homosexual male witch. If he wasn't a Wiccan, but was a sorceror he'd be a homosexual warlock.

Every male witch I know would tear you up one side and down the other if you called him a warlock. Warlock means "liar" and "theif", not witch. And that makes this question compleatly invalid. But for the sake of argument I will continue, Secondly, being a gay man dosent make you a woman, being a lesbian and haveing sex with a woman dosent make me suddenly have a dick and backhair . Hope that helps.

ummm -- it depends on how you are defining your terms.

Any practicioner of Wicca is technically a Witch -- whether male or female. (My partner is Wiccan) So if you are talking about the religion of Wicca (Witchcraft) in any of its permutations of which I am aware (COG -- Covenant of the goddess, Corellian Tradition, even the historic Salem trads) then he is a witch, gay or straight if he is a member, even outer court (roughly the equivalent of being a pew sitter in Christianity). If on the other hand you are talking about some sort of ceremonial magic -- I know less about it - -and can't rationally comment, but Warlock is a male witch in some Christian and Christian influenced belief systems.

Warlocks are men. Sexual orientation has nothing to do with it.

In many Pagan and Neo-Pagan religions (in Wicca this is very common), all practitioners of magic are referred to as witches including men.
