If not, how do I deal with these people 8 hours a day, 5 days a week? By noon I want to scream!! I like what I do, just not with these people. Don't get me wrong, it's not everyone, just a vast majority. I feel that I have to babysit all day long. My boss is just as bad as them, if not worse. I call him the ring leader. The bad thing is, the trade that I'm in, it's hard to find another position, so I can't just up a leave, I need to deal. I've tried talking to other management and it goes nowhere....I even talked to the owner...nothing. Any advise?

You need love. The kind of love that only God can provide you with. The kind that is patient and understanding (even of annoying people). You need Jesus Christ.

This depends on why you hate them.

If it's a perception of incompetence on their part, (which it seems like it is), there's not a lot you can do apart from resign yourself to helping them out on a regular basis, or quit.
You indicate that quitting is not an option, and you just need to deal.
You are getting stressed out over something that shouldn't really be impacting you at all, provided that these people aren't preventing you from your own personal economic growth.
If they are, then start looking for ways to get out.
If they aren't, then you just need to learn how to cope, here are some options.

1. Meditation. Outside of work of course. I don't think I've ever met an agitated person who meditated on a regular basis. There is a fundamental disconnection between stress and meditation. Don't expect immediate results though, give it a few months.

2. A Hobby. Find something that you really enjoy doing. Then do it whenever you have spare time. Find several somethings. This will help you to come to work each day with a positive outlook.

3. Exercise. Increasing ones frequency of low impact exercise, or increasing the intensity of an existing exercise regimen will give you a physical outlet for your frustrations.

4. Religion. Some people find that a new presence of religion is quite calming, or an increase in their devotion to their current religion.

5. A combination of two or more of the above. Take a martial arts course (2, 3), do some readings into Buddhist philosophy (1,4), take some yoga classes (1,2).

6. Self analysis. Figure out what exactly is creating this frustration and anger. Perhaps there is some aspect of your outlook that is causing you to create these feelings when they aren't warranted. This is the easiest to dismiss, and the hardest to implement.

7. Take a stress management course. They might just reiterate the things I've outlined, which are common knowledge, or they might come up with something new.

If the higher ups are just as bad there is probably not much you can do about it. I sympathize because I have been there and I have been driven from jobs I love just to keep my sanity. Can you find the same job in a different company? How about a different city if you are not obligated to stay where you are for family reasons? Sometimes a change of city can work wonders but then I love travelling so that's just me. Sorry to hear about your frustrations. Sometimes you just need to vent. Good luck.

Oh my god, "Noize", (no offence meant mate) My wife has the same problem, but she recently had enough and found a new job. My suggestion would be to look around for another job, but while your still there try concentrating on the good aspects of your job, then when you find a new job, jump on it. Good luck. Sorry i couldn't help more, but maybe "Noize" will pray for you.
