I am hoping someone can finally help me answer a question that became the source of a friendly argument regarding a woman's ability to still become pregnant after having her tubes tied (or burned) and whether or not other non tradional ways such as AFI are still possible after the surgery. I have searched online for an answer and I am still not finding anything concrete to prove or disprove this theory. HELP!

i have never heard of AFI, however women who have had their tubes tied can most definitely become pregnant via IVF. the tubes are bypassed completely.

I think (and I'm no expert) she could become pregnant as long as her ovaries are still producing healthy eggs, even if her tubes are tied. If they harvested her egg, artificially enseminated it and placed it back into her uterus, I don't see why she couldn't possibly have a pregnancy.

No you can not , after they are cut or burn , thats it, no more babys, but practiced save sex as you can get a STD still. People think just because you cannt have any more kids you can just have sex and forget about it. But STD does not take a holiday.
