first, you can bargain, by saying that you will absolutely not pay such an exhorbitant price....
of course you can always buy through Costco (I am serious)...they bargain for you..all you gotta do is tell them which make and model...really easy

This from a sales guy...
First do not seem overly excited about the car and that it's in great shape. If you find, after driving it and checking it out, that you want the car; one way of getting the price down is by nicely pointing out any flaws it may have and ask if they can take some $$ off for those flaws. Next, make sure you have checked out the blue book value on the car and make sure it is close to the price of the car you are interested in buying. If the car of your interest is higher then ask them why this car is more expensive, and if they can bring the price down a bit.
Last, one small trick to at least pay less taxes when you have to register the car. If they are willing, have the seller write a much lower price on the reciept then what you are paying...you will pay less taxes...but you didn't hear that from me.
cheers
