You really have to analize what is more important to you, the boy or your best friend. From your question I deduce that you're in 7th grade. Most likely you wont be meeting the guy you're going to marry anytime soon so I think you should just be friends with the boy and therefore keep your friendship safe with your best friend.

Well who's more important to you, the guy or your friend? In my opinion, you shouldn't go with the guy because you are only in 7th grade and you are most likely going to break up with him pretty soon. Your friend is probably going to be there for you way more than the guy is ever going to be for you in your lifetime. So, who is more important to you, a guy who's probably going to break your heart or a friend??
