Computer lab, and i was having a conversation with a friend. I was discusing a theory i had of time travel.
"basically I have a theory that Jesus is a time traveler. Jewish were non-believers. So, he came back in the 20th century as Hitler. Hitler then killed all the jews"
well, the teacher then said "SHUT UP AND DONT SPEAK" In Angre and Furior rage.
I was smart and stayed calm, only replying "It's a theory" and he yelled
"ITS INSULTING TO SOME PEOPLE SHUT UP"
then i responded and said "So it's unapropriate to say theory's?"
and he basically said "THIS ISNT ECON CLASS GET YOUR STUFF AND GET OUT!" continuing with his vulgar angre. I then said "What about the first amendement?" HE basically said "I HOPE THE DOOR SHUTS ON YOU'RE HEAD"
now i was sent to the principles office. He wasnt there so i'm going to talk to him tommarow. I am doing some research on it, and proving that it's a theory and it's not inapropriate. Is there anything else i can nail him on? I want to make a change.

Even if it's a theory, but it's a stupid theory. What kind of IDIOT are you? You're teacher is right. It is insulting to some people. Even if you do a research on it, you won't find anything. If you do, it'll be stuff written by other idiots like you. Get a life!

**** FREE SPEECH IF IT INSULTS OTHER PEOPLE!!!! **** YOU WHO SAID IT'S FREE SPEECH!

That's a pretty inflammatory theory. And frankly, it's nothing more than a flimsy veiled attempt to promote hate. You can't just claim to have a "theory" then spout off a bunch of remarks that are designed to attack people ethnically and religiously. Freedom of speech doesn't work that way.

Exactly what change do you want to make? Exactly what are you trying to promote? The way the teacher lost his composure was inappropriate, but his response was not. Whether you try to disguise it as a theory, or freedom of speech, or whatever you want, hate speech is hate speech and no law under the sun protects your right to say that crap inside a computer lab.

Nope.

In a classroom the teacher is the one and only boss.
If you interfere with his / her lecture, you are a
distraction to the other students in the class. You
need to be reprimanded for causing the disturbance.
If you continue to be a problem with the teacher's
program of teaching the class, you will most likely
be expelled from the class, and rightfully so.

Realize please that the other people in that class
room are graded not on what you say and theorize,
but on what they learn from the teacher and the
class text book.

By the way, your theory is incorrect and somewhat
"jaded" in my opinion. Spouting off stupid horse droppings like this will only hasten your exit out
the front door of the school. Get smart and learn
how to recognize bull for what it is.

Not only is your theory flawed in some many ways, you don't have free speech. Free speech only exists in context.

The way you're trying to present this would be similar to be saying, "F--- you!" and claiming that it's a theory. In school, you have no free speech...get used to it. They have codes of conduct for that kind of thing.

And actually...theories are graduated hypotheses....basically ideas that have been backed up with much research and experimentation. You had a thought...a stupid one at that...learn to tell the difference.

The teacher had every right SIR... It was a computer lab and not a lab on politics, etc... I would consider your theory disruptive and would have sent you to the Principal's office for detention, and/or disciipline. not for stating a theory but for stating a theory and sticking to it in a class that had nothing to do with your theory.

Wow! Your story changes every time you tell it. This is a sure fire sign of a load of BS. The truth is the same every time it is told and needs no embellishment.

If you want sympathy, then quit the whiny lies.

Message to everyone else who has answered and intends to answer. This guy has told this story multiple times, and has changed the dialoge, sequence and many other details of the event. For all we know, HE may have been directly antagonizing and taunting people with racial rhetoric. Please, please dont feed this guy's ego by giving him ANY credence.

Was the class disusing theories on Jesus or Hitler?? if not then you were out of line, and you should have shut your mouth. schools are there for learning not listening to some moron spout off about his theories.
