From the moment of conception, an unborn child is a living, growing human being. At just three weeks, before many women even know they are pregnant, the baby's heart is already beating. All abortion should be illegal. Here's why:

At 4 months the baby is just about fully developed. Altho it would be very hard to keep a baby alive if given birth at this point but it is still a living breathing being it is just relaxing in its mothers belly til its time to come out and say surprise. I do no think that abortions after 4 months/16 weeks should be done.
I can understand why "SOME" people decide to abort a pregnancy but that is in the first trimester -- after that I think it is WRONG

It is obvious that the rights of a fetus cannot be unlimited as against those of the mother, so the only issue is what the trade-off should be. The compromise laid down in Roe v. Wade was reasonable at the time, and still is.

I have mixed feelings about this. Yes, I think a fetus should have certain rights, especially after a certain period of development. However, I think it's a little bit wrongheaded of us as a society to be so concerned over the unborn when we don't even do a very good job of protecting the rights of human biengs already in existence.

depends on the situation. what if you had a mom with a cardiac problem that put her at high risk of death if she continued the pregnancy? would you say she must continue it and then the both of them die? where is the sense in that. and why is 4 months your magic cut off point. many women get ultrasound and/or amniocentesis at 4 months and find they are having a child with multiple birth defects. are you saying they should be forced to continue the pregnancy? an anencephalic fetus with no brain- the mom should be forced to go 9 months for an infant with no chance of survival. i think not, but you are entitled to your opinion. thank god you are not writing the laws.

A fetus is a living person, the day that it is conceived. That means that abortion is killing a living thing. It is like killing your sibling. A fetus should definitely have rights.

Granted, if a woman is going to have an abortion I think it would be safer to have it done earlier on, it's still her decision.
Abortion is NOT illegal at 4 months as it is still in the second trimester. Third trimester abortion, unless it is in the best interests healthwise of the mother, is illegal. To be honest, I'm pretty sure the large majority of women wouldn't even think about having an abortion once she reaches her third trimester.

i dont think so. but it also depends on the situation,. i mean y should parents have a child if they are just going to treat it like its a peice of trash. but if the parents are good people and think they have no choice but a abortion (usually because of money issues) then i think that they should keep the baby. because they will just regret it later. if they really cant support the child they can always drop the kid off at a police station or fire station and no questions asked the kid will go to the right places. someday get a great family.

I believe a fetus have rights. And i don't think abortion is wright on any case except if something could happen to the mother. But i don't think you could find a clinic that would to it.
