I am a fan of liquid eyeliner. When applied properly it stays all day and doesn't need to be retouched. First, you have to find the perfect eyeliner. I use Lancome Artliner, which is a bit pricey. The cheaper eyeliner I found the works just as good is Mary Kate and Ashley. Apply it underneath your lower lashes. When, you mess up just use a Qtip to correct it. There is no trick to applying perfect eyeliner, it just takes practice, and a good Qtip. Good Luck, you'll have it down before you know it.

Just buy a regular liner not the thick crayon lookin things.

Try with basic black or brown first. Practice at home when you aren't going to go anywhere so you don't have to be in a rush to fix if you mess up....

lightly draw a "line" closest to your lashes on your top lid. Some use on bottom too. Line below the eye under the lashes....you kinda go under the eyelash hairs and do the same....do it lighter on the bottom.

Practice till you get it right before you choose to wear it out....and don't use the liquid liner it will just be a mess.

maximum liquid liners those days have a pointed tip for software. it isn't basic to get a perfect line and takes some practice notwithstanding the biggest element is getting it as on the point of your lash line as conceivable. I somewhat have discovered that if I positioned the applicator tip alongside the certainly lash line rather of aiming for the eyelid, it is going on accurate the position this is meant to and promises the Audrey Hepburn seem you are able to or might want to no longer be going for. once you get the necessary line wide-spread, use a cue tip or your palms to clean up the most reliable so that you both have a smudged smokey seem or your line is even each and every of ways for the period of. desire this helps. bear in mind, it isn't perfect until eventually you've carried out it a lengthy time period and are practiced so cleanup is severe. someone suggested doing eyeshadow and mascara before eyeliner and that i might want to disagree thoroughly. Eyeliner is first (following your starting off position).

Go to marykay.com and find a local consultant. She will come to your house and work with you on application and finding the best color combinations. (No I don't sell Mary Kay-I just think they have great products and I know they receive training) Plus, they use single samples unlike the mall stores so you won't get any infections in your eyes while learning.

the best way to apply it is by sharpening the egde of it and then feathering it across the length of your lash line so it is more smudged looking.short strokes are best.
