When you are in your home alone during the day, do you lock your doors?

What is this alone thing? I'm never alone. I've never been alone. I was raised in a large family (I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters) My wife and I have 4 kids and a veritable menagerie of pets. My idea of Heaven is a place where you can be all alone for a while.

I have the front door locked just because we hardly ever use it. The back door, I leave open whenever I'm home just so I don't have to mess with it every time I let Sabby The Wonderdog® out. I do lock it if I'm leaving the house.

My grandmother lived out in the country and always kept her doors locked tight as a tic for fear some man would come by to rape and ravage her. Poor old gal....never happened.

Yes, I always lock the doors out of habit. I even lock the door to the bathroom when I'm home all alone, it's just something I can't break myself of doing.

Of course, I live in a quiet neighborhood now, but have lived in the city in the past so it is habit to lock the doors. Have a good, and safe night.

No, I usually have the door open and the screen door closed. Until it gets dark, the lights inside attracts bugs.

The doors that lead outside the house? Yes. Internal doors (such as closets/bathroom doors) No.

Yes, in Austin. Lots of in-home attacks around there. We didn't in the lake house we lived in though. But that was different.

Hell yes & I have my two Dogs in here with me Too!!!. I dont think that its paranoid I watch court t.v allot & ther are alot of crimes commited agenst females during the day in ther homes

Never have and never will, Ive heard it said that locks are for dishonest people and I think that's probably true to some extent
