I can understand your need for a disabled parking permit for your own vehicle, but if you are needing it for other peoples vehicles, it's not gonna happen. Besides, if someone else is driving, plan on leaving early enough that they can drop you off at the entrance and then they go park. Good luck with your knees.

Sometimes for something temporary like this the doctor will give you a temporary parking permit that hangs off the rearview mirror. Ask for one after your surgery.

Otherwise have them drop you off by the entrance and then park the car.

If a person is epileptic then they should not be driving! Much less looking for permits to hint they are even worse. Think of others. The special parking is for ones that it is hard to walk. You should be out getting all the exercise you can. It is more likely to decrease your spells. Dark Chocolate, daily -half a serving - decreased my spells by 90%!

I don't know the procedure but it occurs to me that you might just have you friend drop you off at a convenient spot saving you all that struggle.
P,S. : Judgeing by a lot of parking lots I've seen there must be ten times more 'handicapped' parking places as there handicapped people.

In Florida, the doctor has forms to fill out. You have to get in contact with your DOT.
