He's pretty good. I'm glad finally someone dares to do something that they believe in, without constantly looking at the approval rating. Clinton was caring about approval rating too much. Democrats in general are like that. But overall, there's too much corruption, and special interests.

He is a good president, history will tell if he was great. Even great presidents have not shined as brightly under the microscope of time. In the end we find out they were all just human, like you and I. I think President Bush serves with the best intentions, no evil sub plot, no world ruination, just doing what he feels is right. All the screaming insults and comparisons to Hitler come from a hate I do not see warrant for. Evil has walked this earth through history so recent that one should never have trouble seeing it, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao, Kim Ill, Hamas, The Base, PLO, Rawanda. When they call Bush evil they show they have never suffered under evil , for millions that is all they knew and would have given everything for one day under President Bush.

He's had some successes, like tax cuts, improving the economy, medicare prescription drug benefit and No Child Left Behind. He had a great initial response to 9/11, by going after the terrorists and those who support them.
Then he's had some failures, like botching Social Security reform.
Right now, Iraq and Afghanistan are looking like they will lead to failure, and that will definitely weigh negatively on his historical record. If they eventually turn out successful, he will be viewed as a President faced with great challenges, and the perseverance and convictions to complete his goals.
We'll know in about 10 years.

He's great, and one of the greatest. He will be remembered for saving America long after the Democratic Party is no more than a footnote in History.

Too early to tell where President Bush's legacy will land in history. It isnt until we look back 10 - 15 years down the road that we will be able to make a distinction in any direction.
Fmr President Clinton's legacy will not be fully seen for a few more years yet...be patient.

Neither, he'll be in a dead heat for last.
No Child Left Behind, o yea there's a great program, no funding so the results are pushed down on the local school board. All he did was claim what a great job he did but didn't do the hard part, come up with any money for the program.

I capitalize his name, but that's just me. I also capitalize sentences. Just me.
If it were true that terrorism cannot and will not be defeated by military means, then the current president would be very bad, and if that same president imbalanced the federal budget unlike any previous president and retarded human rights internationally and divided the civilized world - including much of Europe - against the United States, he would be the very worst of presidents.
...If these things were true.
