I've always found that the best result is to use the same brand of paper as your printer. For example, Epson paper w/ Epson printer, etc... Otherwise, you'll have to do some trial & error to find the brand that works best with your printer.
I've also had good results with Costco's own brand - Kirkland - photo paper.

To be honest, I use a cheap brand and they print just fine. I bought a big box at Costco (unfortunately I don't remember the brand) but if you have a membership you'd find it. The downside is you get like 10000000 sheets, so if you don't like them, you are out of luck. I shared my package with a friend the first time I bought it.

Kodak is the best brand in my opinion. I use it to print good quality digital photos all the time.

get samples buy a small package, like at kmart or b,js, or staples like when they, have sales, and when you find one that you like buy it up when these stores, have sales, i found some at bjs for 10.00 for ioo count on photo paper, you dont have too spend a fortune too get decent results hons. if they are keepsake, for 50 years buy the best so they dont detorate like brand nam,es, like kodiak hons or reprint thrm when they go bad, make sure you burn several copies on cds, and store them in a safe place hons its like a negative when there gone there gone poof hons!1

there is this really nice kodak glossy photo paper that looks veryy nice!!! im talking from personal experience
