I've had it up to here with things. The other morning left early to go to work. it was about 6:00 am and the welfare neighbours were on their rental porch..still partying and pissed to the eyeballs from booze. As I was going to the car I heard one say...hey there goes the working guy...and they all laughed...one yelled out to me "Have fun at work...we'll drink to ya".

I struggle to make ends meet. Meanwhile guys like this have everything taken care of for them by the gov't.......now they are mocking me.If it wasn't for guys like me they couldn't do what they do. While stuck in traffic going to work I had an epiphany "What the hell am I doing, I should have joined them"

Am I a sucker for working...........why the hell do I do it when I can be better off unemployed?

Well as much as I hate to say it, this is one of those things that if you have to ask the question you probably already know the answer. You're likely just looking for affirmation.

The standard "common sense" answer is just keep plugging away and you'll prosper. But this doesn't always work. Do you think some 45 y.o. career migrant farmer has prospered? What about Walmart employees, hotel chamber maids ???? I'm sure they work hard. The standard work ethic is really something taylor made for the masses. To keep society working and productive.

You'll have pitch all these society norms, work ethic crap, etc and decide what YOU want. In the grand scheme of things, it won't matter to society whether you work or not. Conversely it will be massively important to you personally as it is YOUR life to live.

Are you a chump right now? Maybe.

Your welfare neighbours will never amount to anything. You have the oppurtunity to build a life that will be much richer than your neighbours.
Over time you will amass money and be able to finance travel, property acquisition, and many other things that will be out of reach to your party-hardy neighbours.
If you want to have a financially healthy future, keep working.

I know what you're talking about. At least your liver won't be rotted out by booze. You'll have your good conscience and they'll just have headaches and a grungy lifestyle. It's hard to understand why they don't work as it gives satisfaction. Honest days work for an honest day's pay.

haha, that could desire to be notably ironic =) besides, no i do no longer think of peace is puffed up in any respect! i think of it is underrated because of the fact maximum of persons needless to say do no longer even subject with it! I recommend, international places are seen as susceptible that attempt to barter somewhat of leaping right into a conflict, human beings are seen as 'wimps' in the event that they walk faraway from a combat, and so on. Violence is glorified while attempting to proceed to be non violent is mocked. confident, the peace sign and calling your self a hippie has replace right into a manner yet incredibly following by using with acts of peace is far from being the 'cool' subject to do. Ti's ridiculous.

We do it because we aren't shameless whelps suckling at the government's teat, and because we'll be the ones mocking them when the gravy train runs dry.
