You could try looking in your locality for a moms of multiples group who trades and exchanges equipment and clothing. Also try joining a yahoo groups twin club and try asking on freecycle.org in your area.

Hi,
I have given you some websites below to help you in your search for twin baby gear. Let's see, my hubby and I did not use a bassinet for our twins. Their room was right next door to hear them. They could cry like the dickens. We only used a singleton playpen. Our twins who are 11.5 months old now, were not but fans of playpens. I did get my stroller from Babies R US. It was a Graco brand.
We do have two cribs. Our twins were in the same crib until they turned 4 months old.

as for bassinet you'll just have to buy two of the same, playpens usually are big enough for two and twin strollers are available everywhere walmart zellers toys r us ebay anywhere you can but a stroller you can buy a twin stroller

In our area there is an organization called Mothers Of Multiples (MOM's) and they have 'garage sales' here at least once per year. The MOM's sell their set of 2 strollers, matching clothes sets, and so on but usually ask they be sold to other MOM's for a preview day before opening to the public. It's a great way to get matching stuff but not pay a fortune. Check it out.
