I too am vertically challenged (I'm 5'3"). I have given up on buying pants off the rack and hoping they'd fit.

What I did this past pair was purchase some from The Limited and had them shortened. The hem is cut off and reattached...you'd never know they were shortened (without close examination).

(Unlike everyone else that posted, I am not a size 0 or 2.)

It really depends on your body type, but I think that generally speaking, almost everybody looks good in a pair of Express boot-cuts in a dark wash. They come in sizes 2-16, with short, average, or long inseams. You're going to want to go for short, and they probably still will be a bit too long when you try them on, but remember that jeans do shrink up a bit after being washed, so you don't want to go too short or you'll look like you're wearing high-waters. Also, if you intend to wear shoes with heels most of the time with your jeans, make sure that the hem stops just about an inch above the bottom of your heel (the part that touches the floor). Any shorter and it will look weird. If you plan on wearing flats or sneakers with your jeans, you can either just let the hems drag a bit so they get that cool, frayed look, or you can spend a little extra money and have the jeans professionally hemmed. Believe me, it will be worth it! These jeans fit awesome and they make everyone's *** look gorgeous!

It depends on your weight, and measurements, but there are a few Brands that make a nice petite size. If you are thin, Levis, Baby phat, and Gap have good lengths. Gap has more on line, than in the stores where the small sizes tend to go first. Try looking around the Juniors department also (I find many of mine there). JC Penney is a good start if you have not tried it. I have always had trouble finding jeans. I hate shopping for them. Tops on the other hand are never a problem, so maybe it evens out somewhere. LOL Good Luck. I hope this helps you. I feel you pain.

I guess it depends on if you have a smaller build or a larger build. I'm thin and short and Bongo is fairly good. I'm a size 00 and with that size, the length is perfect for me. Your an inch taller then me though so their size 1 or 0 may fit you nicely in height. Then again..you may be to small or to large for this size so I can't completely say. I would suggest going to Stiches sometime (they sell Bongo there..) and trying on some of their jeans. You could also try American Eagle as they've created special jean lengths for people on both the shorter side and the taller side. The same with Abercrombe&Fitch and Hollister. I would probably avoid Hollister though as even 0-S is still to long for me. I hope I've helped you!

I feel the same way you do. I just recently moved up to a size 0 and I'm 5'2'' I hate jeans that are too short or long and just saggy at the croch. Wet Seal has amazing jeans for us smaller and shorter girls as does Zana Di and Angels. Check em out!

I'm 5'0" and I'm 14 years old, and I have the same problem! I'll give you the jeans I use and it'll maybe give you an idea.

The jeans I'm wearing right now are called ANGELS. They are light blue, and they are totally hot! I'm wearing a size 1 short and it's good for my waste and length.

Sometimes at Kohl's, they come in Shorts...but they are not hanging, they are folded up. Also, Areopostale has shorts and it might work for you.

GOOD LUCK

I'm 5"1 and I buy SO jeans in the junior's department. They fit well as in around the waist and back end (hehe) so that's what I get.

Silver jeans. They are kinda espensive but they are the best. They are sized by inches. I always find that 31 inch inseam is good with heals and 29-30 is good for flat shoes.

Express makes a short length in their jeans.

Try Old Navy. They sell jeans in short sizes. I'm 5'1" and 100 pounds, and I'm a 2 short. Try those.
