And further, the GTA type of game, invented by Rockstar, is now widely imitated by other developers/publishers: Saint's Row is entirely a GTA style game, word is that Scarface is too, and there is Dead Rising, which at first blush is only somewhat like it, but is really basically a lot like it. No problem with those, I see. Pols are just picking on the Rockstar people.

Please don't think I'm being biased because I work in a games store, also I know our store is getting the game in stock but maybe that's cos I live in Scotland, but.....

the fact that games like these are being banned is because of parents who have delinquent teenagers who go out and attack people and then they go and say in court it would never have happened if my child never played games like Grand Theft Auto, The Warriors and all these other violent 18 rated games.

Remember when Manhunt was taken off of all the shelves because someone was murdered? All because they blamed it for the reason the murder was carried out.

There's nothing the games stores can do about it, they're not going to break the law are they?

Well...I don't live in England, but I do know that some politicians are trying to ban a lot of games. I really don't think that this is fair. After all, movies show more violence, sex and other adult situations than videogames and somehow they don't get banned. I just don't get it.... I guess they are trying to use videogames as a scapegoat for everything wrong with society!

No, you can't buy the North American version of Bully because it won't play on PAL systems. North America uses NTSC, just like Japan. I would recommend importing it from a neighboring country.

It is absolutely ridiculous imo. If people want to play it they should be able to play it.
