There is going to be a vote for a new list of the 7 wonders of the world. What criteria do think makes a landmark a wonder?

1. That the object or site would universally inspire the awe and wonder of any observer.

2. That the object is unique on the Earth, such that it had no equal and would likely never be duplicated.

3. That the scale of it's size, beauty, benefit to humanity or nature is unmatched.

4. (this one, I have some reservations about) That the object or site in NOT a symbol of destruction, hatred or death, in it's intention, use, or nature. (such as the scale of destruction of Hiroshima or Nagasaki. This kind of stuff should NOT be considered one of the seven wonders.

How difficult would it be to duplicate the wonder in modern times? We still really don't know how the Egyptians made the pyramids so precisely. That question would be a good criteria.

Amazing, unexplainable, beautiful, and ancient! I would love to be able to visit each one of the original 7 wonders as well as the many many more out there!
