He's 23 and I'm 22. I'm in college and he dropped out. Last summer we were laying down and he said "will you marry me" and I said yes, eventually. Then he said "I'm asking right now". So I said yes and I thought that meant we were going to get the ring.

Over the summer he left for a month to work at a summer camp. He asked me numerous times and asked if I should be w/him to buy the ring, I said yes because I'd like to help and I don't want something extravagant for my small fingers. He talked about it maybe every other night he was gone.

He hasn't brought it up since then and I don't know if I'm supposed to ask or what, or if I'm supposed to get rid of him for messing w/me like that.

I'm actually just tired of having my emotions jerked around. We have lived together for a year or so as well.

Crap, I also meant to say that we've been dating for around 2 years.

Looks like he has you. He got you to move in with him and he gets sex whenever he wants. He throws the marry me line at you to keep you hangin on. Sounds like you should move out, and and dump him. Why do girls fall for this "playing house" thing? If you want to live with a guy, marry him first. It is the only true way to assure his intentions.

Ever think that maybe something happened or his feelings changed while he was gone to "Summer Camp"...have you questioned him about it. Maybe he is waiting for you to bring up the subject again...ask him, you have every right too, as his "fiancee"...

That's a great way to get a gullible girl to have sex with you. Nice job on his part!
