Baked Apples
Lots of German Pastries/Strudel

May look up on web and print photos to cut and paste on poster. Or look in magazines.

The fact that English is derivative of German, rather than Latin, is notable. The title "German" was given to the Germanic people by the Romans - it meant "spear men," and many Roman campaigns into what is now Germany resulted in massacres. Beethoven, Handel, Bach, and Wagner were all German composers of note.
