Democrats...Sen. Barack Obama, or Gov. Kathleen Sebiluis of Kansas could stomp Gore and Hillary.

Republicans...Gov. Jeb Bush, or Senator John Cornyn.

All four of them could win, if given the chance.

You are two years and three weeks short of the 08 election. The political landscape hasn’t even begun to develop, there are many good qualified people who will not consider a run for the whitehouse until after the 06 election. In my sixty years as a political observer I find this two year head start to be a recent phenomenon. Just like most things, what’s hot now may not be hot in two years.

I think the next winner will be a dark horse, Both Clinton and Bush where relative unknowns to the rest of the nation and both won. I truly believe the next winner will not be someone we are currently talking about.

I personally think Massachusets Govenor Mitt Romney is one of the best "dark horse" canidates.
