I have one night to come up with an outfit to where for school for 1980's day. I get the red lipstick and big hair, but what could I turn the clothes I have now into that looked like in the 80's??

leggings were huge back in the 80s. also think colorful, like colorful and huge jewlery. think almost tacky! oversized sweaters were the thing back then, too. side ponytails, big hair and red lipstick as you said. colorful makeup!

Take a big plain tee shirt and cut the neck off a bit so you show some shoulder....may want to wear a tank or sports bra underneath.
Wear Blue eyeshadow with black eyeliner...
Get some big earrings. Take two different color socks. ie black and purple....on the right foot put on the purple first then the black. ON the left foot put the black then the purple...got it?!

leg warmers
hightops
wristbands
over sized sweatshirts cut on a diagnal slant
lots of blush
blue or teal eyeshadow, and lots of it
headbands
scrunchies
etc
i was in my high school production of 'footloose'
and we had so much fun making out costumes lol

Big ear rings beads...lots of make up... off sholder shirt or leggins with a skirt...the real long shirts that are out now( ilove them)big jeans flip flops(every one had them) for shoes unless you wear leggins good luck

oversized. borrow if u dont hav any, but like, big off shoulder sweater and skinny jeans basically lol or skirt w/leggings
