I'm used to cooking my own fresh fish, and I expected a fish market in every corner in Boston. I'm amazed to find Dunkin Donuts in their place.

I have yet to find one, nothing too exotic, but fresh local fish.

I'm new to the area, make sure to specify the neighborhood. Thanks!

Besides the fish market at Legal Seafood, Captain Marden's in Wellesley has excellent fish and less expensive. Also, if you go to Whole Foods, their fish is fresh and a good deal.

I buy all my shellfish at James Hook's at 15 Northern Avenue in Boston. Phone: (617) 423-5500 The location is a few blocks west of the New England Aquarium.

I have been a satisfied customer for 30 years, and wouldn't consider buying lobster anywhere else!

I usually go to Whole Foods, because I find it is the freshest for actually being down town. Other than that, when I go to the Cape for the weekends there are tons of places there.
