We only have 3 days to visit parks - what ones are musts, which ones are not worth it? We are a 25-30 year old couple with no kids. Never been to Disneyworld (or Disneyland either).

Magic Kingdom: Has all kinds of rides which feature a lot of characters, likely from your childhood. It's more meant for children but fun none-the-less. (Not bad, but packed and very child-oriented)

Epcot: I believe they have the wine samples this time of year, nice cultural exibits and a good fireworks show. If you can get there around 7 go to the mexican restaurant and get a seat on the water so you can have a nice little dinner watching the fireworks. This is a great spot my wife and I found. (Recommended)

Animal Kingdom: The most fun in my opinion, it's really a big zoo. But it does have its share of rides. (Highly Recommended)

MGM Studios: If you ask me, it's a waste of time and money besides Rockin' Rollercoaster and Tower or Terror... (Not Recommended, go if you have the time and money but there's not much to MGM)

TIPS:

Bring gum, Disney owns every store in a huge radius and if you chew gum, I promise you will not find it at ANY store nearby.

Wear comfortable, water-friendly clothing. There's a bunch of water rides, mist machines that cool you off in FL's heat, yes it's still rpetty warm this time of year. I live 30 mins from Disney. Also it can rain and why let rain ruin your experience?

Make sure you bring sunblock, there's not any shade at some lines.

Wear comfortable shoes, you'll probably walk 10 to 15 miles a day.

Make sure you do the express passes... if it weren't for express passes you wouldn't need one. They're what holds up lines, you'll see 20 express people go into a ride, then 5 other get let in from the normal line. You can get these passes by sticking your ticket in the slot near ever ride's entrance and it will tell you what time to be back to go right to the front of the line.

The castle at Magic Kingdom has a nice, fine-dining restaurant in it. You need to make reservations though.

All in all it CAN be a rip off, but only if you let it. Bring stuff to do in lines you'll probably wait between 25-30 minutes a ride. The food is expensive, but drinks are worse I believe a bottle of coke is like $2.50... Just come in a good mood, treat it like the last time you'll ever have the opportunity and enjoy yourself. A lot of people let simple problems found in ANY themepark ruin their whole experience...

Have fun!

I would STRONGLY recommend that you stay in a villa rather than a hotel. You can get a 3 bed, 2 bath villa for as low as £50 per night, with full air-con and private pool and spa. The first time we spent, we all shared a room in a Disney hotel, and it was awful. We felt cramped, and there was very little privacy. Florida holidays can be hard work, as there's many miles of walking in the hot sun, so it's great to have your own space for a snooze when you get back, if you need one. All the villas will have laundry facilities, so you don't need to take as many clothes. Most tour operators offer villa packages, but you won't get to see your home until you arrive. We prefer to book a flight and car hire separately, then rent a private villa, so we can check out the photos on-line and read the testimonials. We also think it's worth splashing out a bit more for a high end home, as it makes the trip a bit more special. And I have to say that one week isn't really enough time to see all Orlando has to offer, and my favourite theme park is Busch Gardens in Tampa, which is about an hour down the road from Orlando. Best value ticket is the Orlando Flexticket plus, which covers unlimited access to Seaworld, both Universal parks, Busch Gardens, Wet 'n' wild and Aquatica. If you use it about 4 times it pays for itself.

Sorry you only have 3 days, my husband & I went there before we had kids & we had such a BLAST!!!! We went in the off season to be sure the crowds were smaller. I believe it was in November. Neither of us went on the rides, but we had so much fun just walking around looking at everything & people watching. You are going to have so much fun. Be prepared for the crowds & don't under estimate the weather. My husband & I went before
the Animal Kingdom arrived, if you enjoy animals that should be a stop otherwise, we enjoyed Epcot , Universal, The magic kingdom (of course). We had 10 days, so we weren't in a hurry. I can only suggest choosing what YOU really want to see & spend as much time there as possible. You two have fun!!!

Go to SeaWorld, MGM and a water park if you go when it's warm. Some people go every year and have a great time, we enjoy a few days at the parks and relaxing at the pools or just exploring around Orlando........Oh, we went on a Casino cruise (booked at the resort). We had a great time!! We've been to Vegas and live 2hrs from Atlantic City but really enjoyed the cruise..went in the evening...beautiful sites to see! ENJOY!!

I love Disney World! Just keep in mind there is lots and lots to do. Go to a Disney store and get a book that tells about all the Parks, what to see at each park. We got one for our last trip and found it very helpful. Also keep in mind because of the size, don't try to see everything. For your ages I would suggest Epcot and Animal Kingdom. But all of them are wonderful. My best suggestion is "get the book". Have fun!!

Well, i went last April and I had a blast. We went to Animal Kingdom, MGM, and magic Kingdom. my favorite ride was the the Tower of Terror at MGM. There wasn't much rides there mostly shows. And I liked Magic kingdom. If you have a chance go to Epcot. It was really cool there! But whatever you choose i'm sure you'll have a great time. Maybe try going to Sea World!

Make sure you hit Downtown Disney. Epcot is my favorite park - I love Germany. I liked Universal Studios over MGM.

Take lots and lots of money. Go to Epcot. There is a lot of things to do in Orlando other than Disney.

Don't go it's a rip off. 15 years ago i stood in line for 15 min. with a wife and 2 kids for 4 slices of pizza and 4 cokes. It was over $18.00.

The place sucks for adults but kids seem to love it.
