Sorry in advance, but I have to say this:

She's your supervisor.

She's not there to be your friend, your colleague or a project for you to improve her skills or character.

She's your supervisor - she's employed by the company to make sure your job is performed satisfactorily, to manage your role and its contribution.

No, it's not your place to talk to her about her supervisory skills. It's not your place to talk to her about what you think is her phoniness. Put yourself for a second in her shoes - if you knew the subordinates who you were supposed to be supervising didn't think you had an adequate skill set for your job and were judging your sincerity, how open and transparent would you be with them?

Sorry to be so blunt, but my suggestion is to excel in your own job, stop worrying about your supervisor, and let your performance speak for itself.

Best to you.

If you have other resources and a bountiful career outlook, Id suggest switching jobs. Its quite pointless to "work". Your career can only be a career when you truely enjoy it. With supervisors such as the one you mention take the interest out of it and make the task redundant. Good luck!

Let your superiors realize that. No sense in risking your job or even making it harder to expose your supervisor.

Nothing, just be afraid of your work not of your supervisor.
