it eraly matters where u r and what u like. not tryin to b parinoid but no 1 can hear u get murdered on a froest trail. so if u like to run on hard terain than go with the forest but if u want a controoled run than go fer the city.

I walked thru the forest in Washington one day. It was gorgeous. You could see Mount Adams. It always feels good getting exercise. Then on the other hand, you have to run into people on the sidewalk in the city.
