i have a best friend that is not speaking to me because she doesnt like my fiance. when he proposed she was truly jealous, not just becuase of me but another friend of hers had just got married also. she has already graduated from college and she is a pretty girl but very premiscous and dates guys for like 1 month before getting bored, so im questioning her opinion seriously. she is upset that my fiance and i decided to stay together after a fight we had. she thought i should leave him, but i love my fiance and our fight was very petty to me. when i accused her of not staying with a man long enuff to even know what a real relationship is about, the real fight started.we have been best friends for 8 years now, and havent spoken in 2 months. what should i do about her? should i just let her vent or what? her birthday is coming up....and i dont want to seem like the bad person here by blowing it off... one thing is for sure..i will never speak to her about my personal life or relationship

Wow. Thats rough. I would deff. go ahead and make the effort to send her a gift, that way the ball is in her court and she can decide weather she wants to hang on to your friendship or end it. EIther way you'll have made your stance clear. As for your fiance, just make sure you hear her out there could be a possibility that shes just trying to be a good friend but doesnt know how to express herself, unless she has some valid points about why she believes you two shouldnt be married stick with your gut feeling.

I hope this helps!

If I were you, I would send a very generic birthday card and let things cool down. She probably feels left out and lonely. You do not have to take her frustration and venting though. That is not what friends do to each other. There is a reason for her anger. Try to see what that is.

Sounds as if you both need some time away to cool. If you are meant to stay friends, your relationship will come full circle.
