Male or female??? Males, could be caused by the prostate enlarging and pinching off the urethra. Females, could be a bladder infection; with inflammation, that can cause the same effect.

It could be a variety of problems. It could be an enlarged prostate, pending that you are male. It could be a bladder problem such as infection or overactive bladder. If it is either of those, there are medications to help with that. A bladder infection (ie: urinary tract infection) would be diagnosed by a urine test to see if you have white blood cells or leuk esterase in your urine. Some people start having problems emptying their bladderfor no known reason. Some people start having any recent trauma or injury to the bladder area. Any chance that you got hurt recently to the lower belly? It could also be that one of your other organs in your belly are pressing down on your bladder often known as a hernia. The only way to know for sure is to see your doctor.

If you're a man you have an enlarged prostate or an infection. If you're a woman you have a bladder, or kidney infection. More than likely you'll be having some burning and back pain as well. You might even see some blood in your urine.
