Paris became famous after making a sex tape with Shannon Doherty's ex husband, Rick Solomon. Solomon sold the tape, a brouhaha erupted and Paris was made into an overnight sensation. Just what the world needed right? An blonde heiress who is stupid enough to make a sex tape with a scumbag? Suddenly, Paris and her cronies were everywhere. Then she was offered THe Simple Life and she really took off. Her sister Nikki is much lower profile and seems to have a better head on her shoulders. Nikki has an interest in fashion and developed her own clothing line, Chick. The media created Paris Hilton and now we're all paying the price.

I don't think anyone let her become famous she kind of just found her way in through different random things like walking red carpets, being at parties, and lets not forget her infamous sex tape. She just became someone you heard about all the time and before you knew it she was famous. She still would of been famous regardless just because she is the heiress to the hilton fortune and her sister is going to be a great designer so she would of also been known as Niky Hiltons sister. I guess you can say she was born into fame and once she could walk she jumped into it. I don't know if she does or doesn't have talent cause i've never seen her movies or bought her album but I did hear that one song she had out and it wasn't bad wasn't good but wasn't bad either.

Maybe her lack of substance allows a low enough standard so other people with little talent and discretion can feel better about themselves. I think those that hold her in high esteem don't realize she's rich and glamorous only because she was born into great wealth. Another factor is probably The Princess Factor. Some want to be her so badly, they don't see how truly destructive her actions are--they just want to be her so badly, they wear fur, and get little dogs they have no idea how to care for.

Paris lovers far outnumber Paris haters. She is about the smartest wisest celebrity today. She gets up to $150,000 just to show up at a club. Then she can leave. Other celebrities have to act, sing, or do something. She gets paid just for "being". Her album is better that recent work of Britney, Christina, Hillery, and all the others who chant 3 word phrases to a beat while wallowing on the floor in underwear making spectacles of themselves. Although they can sing, they sell out to the man for what the dollar says is popular. Paris did her album her way. Although originally famous for being rich, she now makes more money than her parents. Smart huh.

Because usually, guys buy in to girls that have boobs big enough to feed an entire country... Guys are horney, and hate not getting anything, so if they have a chance to watch TV and jack to some huge boobs, then.... Why wouldnt they buy into it? I mean arent most female stars like that?
