Ford drive train?? What year? Sounds like you are leaking tranny fluid. Possibly the tailshaft seal for the slip yoke. Need more info. Do a good visual to see if you can find a leak. Also, does it have a vaccum modulator? If it goes bad, it could suck tranny fluid into the intake. If it is REALLY bad and sucking a lot of fluid up, the car will smoke white a little. Good luck.

sounds like transmission issues. Take it back to the mechanic who supposedly "fixed" it.. He should look at it and resolve your problem free of charge if he didnt do it right the first time
