At the end of a letter, P.S. means Post Script. The only reason why you would use this, is if you typed a letter on a typewriter, and wanted to add something later. It's an obsolete concept. Just Modify your letter to make it RIGHT without the P.S.

P.S. is an abbreviation that is used at the end of a letter or note for additional thoughts. It is short for the Latin word post scriptum, which literally means "after what has been written". Post (after) scriptum (written)
In practice it looks like this:
Dear Suzy,
It was so nice to see you yesterday, looking forward to meeting you for dinner next week at Sam's.
Love,
Smitty
P.S. Don't forget to bring the wine!
Even though some people think the post script is obsolete...market researchers have discovered that most people READ the PS -- which makes it a great spot to put information that you want people to remember.

Did you know that after a Post script ( p.s. ) you can add a p.p.s
( post post script ) Gosh, didn't you learn this early in your career as a student. Not to judge you but there are so many rather ordinary terms that seem to go unknown.

Post Script: Meaning "After what's written"
After you have finished a letter, but find you have another thought to add, you may insert it at the end with P.S.
