Hey girl,
my parents are in the middle of a nasty divorce. I don't know their backgrounds, but there is a rhyme and reason for what our Heavenly Father does. Unfortunately, there is not a thing we can do. I know without a doubt God wants them to be together, but He gives us free will! God won't intervene and just stop it. God allows us to go through trials so we will grow closer to Him, but also so we can help others. I will pray for them, and you pray too!

Sorry hon but that isn't your decision to make. I know it's scary, believe me I've been there, but things will work out for the better. Would you rather your parents stayed together just for you? And were completely miserable the rest of their lives? I didn't want that for my parents and now they are much happier apart than they ever were together. Divorce is hard but you can get through it. A lot of us have. My parents divorced when I was 16.

Why be scared? Obviously they are not happy, so why keep them together. Do you want them to stay miserable for the rest of their lives? You will grow up at some point and get your own life. So, give them a chance to be happy. It is just another adventure of life.

No can do, my dear girl.
I know it hurts but you WILL survive this. Don't be scared. Start reading books and articles on children surviving divorce, and tips on how to get yourself through this very difficult time. Lots of help on-line too. Start surfing and reading right away. Or go to your local library.
Also, you need to speak to your mom or dad, whoever you feel comfortable with about your fears.
I feel for you, and I wish you luck.

A tough situation but if there is not love there then it is better to seperate. Being together just for you will not make you happy if you see them fight with each other every day. They may be better for you apart. Remember they do care about you it is with each other is the problem. I have been there.

understandably your scared but don't be a selfish brat. Your mother and father have feeling and needs. Contrary to what you think their life does not revolve around you. Your mother is a smart woman I am sure she has her reasons for what she wants to do. Trust her and give her all the love you can, this is not easy for her.

Well sorry but that is what happens sometimes. There are many reasons I am sure why they are divorcing and it has nothing to do with you. You will be okay.

Hang in there Honey, cause God wants them to be together just like you! See if you can't convince them to seek christian counselling and go from there. Oh yeah and pray for them, I will.
