I avoid talking about myself like the proverbial plague. But I will change the subject to sports whenever possible. Call it a comfort zone.

Changing the subject is kind of an art. You have to think of something that kind of connects with what you're talking about, and move it even farther from there. I like to talk a lot, which is why I know about this, and sometimes I talk so much on the phone my friends have to make an excuse and hang up. I have a lot of friends, and I like to do things with them, like go swimming. I hope I get to go to the Olympics with my swimming, because I am like the Water Queen. I like other sports though, like basketball and gymnastics.

Hope this helps! :)

Who doesn't?

It is human nature. We just need to stay on particular subjects so conversations and the exchange of ideas can take place. Otherwise communication would break down and the whole wide..

Not often because I enjoy listening to other people, if I do change the subject it would only be I have to leave. But usually I enjoy listening to people.

Of course,If you can, you would be mad not to, there's nothing worse than having to listen to stuff you're not in the least bit interested in.

Oh yes, I do it all the time.

I find it odd though, people (and by "people", I mean "the bf") do not seem to like it when I do that.
