Harry Reid's scandal will not receive the amount of coverage that Foley's did because the main stream media have a political agenda of their own. If more does come out about Reid (I think they have just scratched the surface) it will be kept quiet until after the Nov elections.

In reviewing the New York Times, it seems that the "Newspaper of Record" is very interested in reporting Reid's issues as well as Foley's. (There is just something more sinister about the Foley affair though).

Ummmm,
Foley, a closet gay republican tried to lure children into bed with him.
Reid didn't tell congress that he sold some land like he was supposed to.
Do you REALLY think that is the same level of scandal?"

Mark Foley's scandal is all about SLEAZE, so it gets more attention. Reid's scandal doesn't involve sex so it isn't a big draw.

well... first off... one is a sex scandal... they ALWAYS GET MORE PLAY... I don't remember you complaining during Clinton... and it's WITH KIDS... which is also media dynamite
second... I've yet to see one person that can cite the laws being broken by reid...apparently the only thing he has broken are congress ethics rules... which is usually a pretty minor thing...
you're comparing apples to oranges...

Child sex predator in charge of making laws protecting minors vs. incomplete paperwork on a land deal, hmm. let's see. I think the correct answer is "The only way the child sex thing would NOT be covered more is in A Republican's Wildest Dream".

You saying it doesn't make it true. Reid did nothing illegal and at worst he is guilty of a technical ethics violation. Even that has not been determined yet. Sorry but there's no there, there.

they should be. queers and monkey butt phukkers have brought aids into the world killing innocent ryan white and others.
thieves can more easily make amends by repaying what they stole, but you can never bring innocent victims of aids lives back.
