She yells, and obsesses about her science class (these boys make fun of her but they think they're kidding) She hits them and yells, and giggles all the time. She act stupid on purpose. She tries to get boys to like her by hitting, and being mean. She acts very immature around boys, and she's mad I have other friends to hangout with, and that she's not my only friend. She is kinda my nerdy friend. but whatever, I don't care, she's nice, but tries to act cool, she's not satisfied with herself. We are almost in highschool and she's acting like that! I love her, but I need to help her so she doesn't drive people away from her!

I used to be friends with someone like that, she would constantly yell, brag, talk, giggle hysterically for no known reason.....etc... Unfortunately, your friend is having some serious problems with herself. It's called lacking self esteem, or, more commonly known as narcissism (meaning excessive love of ones self). You're absolutely correct on your statement, she's just trying to get attention. Trust me, your friend needs help, but she is asking for it in an inappropriate manner. Try talking to her about the issue. If she's not receptive, then just tell her that you are there to talk if she needs someone.

oh my god yeah my best friend is like that too. the boys say she has a big butt and then she acts all in control and mean then she flirts with them!!! it drives me insane for real. but she's not nerdy, she is popular and it drives me crazy. so yeah i know where you are coming from. just don't hang out with her cause she has her own friends and so do you. so hang out with ur friends.

She is just trying too hard she wants to fit in. You can't blame her for that. She is trying to impress everyone because that is the only way she thinks she can keep or make friends.

To make her learn her leeson you tell all of her friends not to talk to her. After, she will wonder why is there nobody talking to me. Then, she will ask, and you tell them to tell her that we don't want to hang out with you if you are going to be somebody else and we want you to be you. That is why you have friends and if they were really her friend they would have been have said something.

just tell her! she will be pissed for a while, but then she will realize that she needs to grow up if shes about to enter high school! if you dont, she will go through high school without a boyfriend...... or any friends for that matter!!!
