such as dresses and mens clothing?? anyy help would be appreciated like i know they wore corsets and things like that but any help would be awesome!!!

I was a fashion Major.....the Corsets are made out of cotton or satin.

Key is that Only natural fibers were available at this time so anything made of Wool, Cotton, Silk, Hemp, etc.

Men basically wore cotton shirts and wool suits.

They wore a lot of lace over another fabric I don't know at the moment. They dressed VERY conservative usually covering up to their neck. And wore shirts like this:
